Let's Dance Denver is the creation of Kevin and Pat Whiteley — names that are immediately recognized by most Denver dancers. Kevin and Pat have been dancing, teaching and competing for more than a decade. They are active competitors and coaches/choreographers in both the country and swing dance communities.

Kevin and Pat are the 1999 Swingtime in the Rockies Champions, as well as the 1999 and 2000 Colorado State Swing Champions. In addition to their dominant regional presence, Kevin and Pat have achieved an impressive level of national recognition. In 1999, they placed 2nd in the US Open Swing Dance Championship, an annual event held in Anaheim, California regarded by many as the pinnacle of swing dance competition.

Although they routinely work with competition-minded dancers, Kevin and Pat also enjoy working with social dancers that merely wish to improve their appearance on the dancefloor. Their instructional style emphasizes a seamless integration of proper dance technique, attractive styling, and basic lead-and-follow dance skills.
